Martingale collars are specifically designed to provide more control than a standard collar & (when fitted properly) will prevent your dog from escaping or backing out of their collar due to the cinching function. While martingale collars don't prevent pulling, they are an excellent training tool for teaching your dog good leash manners. They are highly recommended by trainers as the go-to collar choice.

- These Fi 3/3+ compatible collars are made in either the "overlay" fi style or "in-line" fi style.
- The overlay fi style gives your Fi device extra protection, & allows the collar to still be functional without the Fi tracker attached.
- The in-line fi style is where the end links are attached inline with the collar band. This is the style that comes with your standard fi collar and is the recommended fi style for the new series 3+ to ensure you get the most optimal accuracy with its additional behavior monitoring features. The Series 3+ will still work with the overlay design for GPS tracking and fitness.

The collar size you choose will be the circumference that the collar can adjust when it relaxed around your dog's neck. When tension is applied to the martingale it will reduce the collar's size by a max of 4" (3" for smaller neck sizes). For example if you choose the 16-20" size and your pup wear's his/her collar at 18", when tension is applied to the martingale it can tighten down to approximately 14".
The best to way to measure for these style collars is with a soft measuring tape or string. Gently wrap the tape or string around the following 3 areas. The tape should be snug but not too tight. If your dog has very thick fur be sure to get the tape closer to the skin.
Measure the following 3 areas:
- the widest part of your pup's head (A)
- the neck just behind the ears (B)
- the neck where the collar naturally sits (C)
To keep your collar looking its best, we recommend hand-washing it with mild soap and warm water when needed. For stubborn spots, use an old toothbrush brush or dish brush to gently scrub the area. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry and then it will be ready for your next adventure

Martingales are a training tool and not an everyday house collar. Martingales should never be worn unsupervised.
This was our second or third time back to the SeaFlower store, and the products continue to impress. The patterns offered are amazing, and the collars hold up well against our destructive Huskies. We prefer the no-buckle Martingale collars and stick with these when upgrading from Fi2 to Fi3 GPS units. We also picked up some matching leashes this time.

I love this martingale! It's well constructed and striking! The ring you attach the leash to is a little too heavy. My pup seems to shy from it when I go to put it on. I don't think he likes how heavy it feels between the heavy-duty hardware and the weight of the Fi unit itself. I really hope he gets used to it.
I use a thick martingale when we go to obedience training and it wasn't working to ALSO be wearing his Fi collar. I bought this Fi compatible martingale so he would only need to wear one collar to training. When we get home, I switch back to the regular collar, so the Fi unit needs to be removed from his SeaFlower collar and put back on his Fi collar. It only takes a minute or two. I gets tons of complements on the pattern (blue smoke) too!
I went with this company because they are the only ones that make a fi comparable martingale collar ultra secure. Like, if the fi part should break, it doesn't affect the collar itself as the collar isn't depending on the fi part to not break. Hope that makes sense.

Before I was using 2 collars, one for the Fi and one as a martingale. I tried to find a 2 in 1 and finally found this! Absolutely love it!
I chose the periwinkle martingale collar that is compatible with the Fi tracker. I already had a martingale collar in this pattern nylon so I was thrilled to find SeaFlower carried it too. The collar is vibrant, well stitched with secure hardware. It shipped quickly and looks striking against my white husky’s fur. The blue really brings out his blue eyes. If I ever decide to change up his collar style or color, I’ll be coming here first! I also love the martingale collar as it’s always worked well for me on many dogs and our trainer recommends this style as well so I’m very thankful that SeaFlower makes this style collar specifically.

The collar design is flawless, surpassing any other well-designed options available, especially for smaller dogs. Placing the fi collar over the band is incredibly helpful, as it eliminates the issue I faced with my previous fi collar constantly breaking off at the tracker attachment. The collar's handmade craftsmanship is evident, showcasing high quality in every detail. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy delivery, receiving my order within a week. The owner was exceptionally responsive and provided valuable assistance throughout the process.
In an effort to reduce the collar's weight and minimize the risk of it coming off, I opted for the martingale style without the buckle. It serves its purpose in this regard; however, I must mention that my dog doesn't particularly enjoy having it put over his head. Despite this minor inconvenience, the collar remains secure and offers peace of mind.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with the flawless design, collar durability, and attentive customer service. It's a top choice for owners of smaller dogs, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the product is commendable.
