To keep your BioThane gear performing at its best, we recommend rinsing your dog’s leash or collar with fresh water after any water-based or dirt-heavy activities. Take special care to rinse the hardware on your BioThane® gear. This will help to rinse off dirt, grime, and salt water all of which can, over time, wear down the hardware.
- To ensure the longevity of your BioThane® product, avoid exposure to certain chemicals such as, DEET, insect repellents, topical flea and tick products, as well as lotions and body oils. This can lead to brittleness and cracking over time.
